Joe's Car Conversions

Ok, I have decided to move into the world of car conversions. I have started with the Vauxhall Corsa VXR, but made a few changes from the default Forza 3 model. It happens on Firefox too, it claims that Google has a blacklist and this site is on it, even though I have never had any problems.

Wow, nice track! Do you scale roads one by one? Because Google maps won't be out of proportion, to scale everything, in objects box, click show all, turn on SEL and scale while holding down shift key, to scale along all 3 axes. I scale all roads as one big thing - using a SHADOW_ object from...

Why just not resize them?
I simply think i had done too much to be able to resize them accurately - anyway here's progress:

***I know I haven't added GROUND_ object - but focusing on roads first***

I'm going to have to redo this - roads have been the wrong proportion cos google maps doesn't show the correct road width unless its on satellite view

The first test... as you can see some triangles need reconnecting after being scaled - also road and bus stop textures need putting in properly. Also some roads are out of proportion. :D

Oh and, do you also plan to make background stuff and scenery?
Scenery will come eventually - but at the moment the important thing is getting textures and roads done - with bus stops as well.

I don't want traffic for the simple reason that mm2 has REALLY BAD traffic programming - and I would have to make new traffic cars for it to look like manchester's buses - and also as far as I know there is no way to program certain traffic vehicles to follow a specific route. This is inspired by HK...

Good luck with modeling this bus. Good start, but low the use of polygons on flat parts. Thanks for your supporting e-cobra. Most of the polygons on the flat parts are to do with the blueprints - so they can be rotated later without the hassle of breaking objects. and thanks for the support ...
