Fraps works great for me! Can even use it to make videos. It does cost some money, so you might want to stick with print screen. You will have to print screen then save one at a time though. Fraps will place them all in a folder for you after hitting the capture key.

Nice job whoami! Glad you got it figured out! I am still not quite sure why my machine will run with just the files from the zip. I now dual boot with Win 7, and it does perform much better on there. Will save this for sure though. Great to have.

Hey Ben, I have also experienced this issue before. It seems to always be a firewall issue for me. Check and see if Microsoft Direct Play Helper is allowed as well. Might also want to check that the programs are allowed on all types of networks (Private and Public depending on what you have). Hope t...

Maybe a graphic driver issue or graphic settings? Not sure. Never had that come up before with MM2. Might be worth a shot to try and run the game in safe mode to change some settings. Don't have any experience with dual boots because I never had a free partition on my HDD. If all else fails, at leas...

Re: Windows 8 does not support mm2.

Interesting. You are correct. All you have to do is paste the contents of the folder into the program directory. It appears that 1.6rc4 does not work on my machine either, but 1.3.22 works fine. Are you running the mm2 application as administrator? I tried not running as admin on 1.3.22, and the &qu...

Re: Windows 8 does not support mm2.

Sure, no trouble for me other than learning how to post links :D. I use a download manager, so I have the link still from where I downloaded it at. The folder contains many different versions. Like I said above, I found version 1.3.22 to work well on my Windows 8.1 machine, but experiment around and...

Never personally had problems with the game where Windows 7 was the issue. I installed Virtual Box myself last night to see if any issues arose, but Midtown Madness 2 ran fine. I am running Windows 8.1, though. If the issue continues on a clean, non-modded version of MM2, could it be that Virtual Bo...

Re: MM2 crashes at splash screenunning?

What operating system are you running? I used to have the same problem on Vista after attempting to install mods. I would try using the speed boost update if you are not already using this. I would sometimes have to replace this again after over-loading the game system.

Re: Windows 8 does not support mm2.

Hey, sorry to bring up a few month old topic, but I had to share a solution to fix MM2 in Windows 8.1. All one has to do is place some application extension files into his or her game directory. I had the same lag problem, but it was instantly fixed with this solution. However, every once in a while...
