Using 3dsmax to make MM2 Cars

I can't get the hang of Zmodeler, its waaaay too confusing for me. But im better at 3ds max modeling. Is there a way mm2 cars in 3dsmax then send it to zmodeler then to MM2 or will i have to learn the ways of Zmodeler slowly??

yes make your car texture it and whatever then export it to 3ds and import the 3ds into zmolder 1.0.7 tweek it and export it to pkg

I looked for 5 minutes and found no reference for .3ds file exporting/importing. I even checked filters and its in there, but its not enabled or something.
