Found Cool MM2 Easter Eggs!
Hey guys! I'm new here, but have some cool info that I know you will love! I have found some easter eggs in MM2! Here they are:
1: Secret Area
In the London Crash Course level, "River Jumping", you need to pause the clock,
(f2,q,q) then drive over to where you start out by default in cruise mode, by the subway entrance. You will see some barricades, a jump trailer, and hundreds of boxes!
2: Secret London Cab
In the London Crash Course Level, "Midterm Exam 1", go to checkpoint 7, then instead of turning right, turn left then continue going strait. You should then see a purple arrow on your map. Go to it, and you will see a London cab.
3: Secret Jump Trailers + Props
In the London checkpoint race, "Check This" you can find lots of jump trailers with boxes, barrels, and barricades around them for several blocks in front of Buckingham Palace!
Unfortunately, there are none in San Francisco.
Let me know what you think of them!

Great found. Sure you've took lot of time to discover them. I've checked all the things and they're true.

Hmmmm.... Great things you've explored. Congratulations! But I can't try them, because I have a German version of MM2 and I don't know how they're called in German.
Maybe some help?
P.S.: In your first easter egg (Secret Area) you said to pause the clock and drive to the subway entrance. Apart of this you said to drive to the place where you start normally the cruise mod. But there are different positions where you can start the cruise mod in London, depends from the traffic, pedestrian and the police density. And what subway entrance? There are a lot of them in London!?
I explored only the Secret London Cab. Cool! What is it doing there?
Maybe you can post screens of the number 1 and 3. I can't find the boxes and barrels and so on...Where are they? And where is the jump trailer...Please help.
Thanks.

OK, For the 1st one, crash course number 8(excluding the 2 midterms) it's at the same place you start out in cruise mode with the traffic, peds, cops destiny unchanged.
And the 3rd one, in the 8th checkpoint race, go to the front of Buckingham palace, and face away from it, then drive. You should see jump trailers and the props for several blocks until you hit the edge of the level.
I would post pics, but I can't seem to do it.
But tell me if you need any more help.

You can upload pics through photobucket. Just register there, you'll get your own album and then you upload your picture (screen) there and copy the direct URL link. You place it between "". Then the picture will appear in your post. Or just upload them at this MM2X Screen Shots gallery.
I'll try the things you've explained, thanks.

The subway entrance explained in the first easter egg is the one where you start the gameplay in London with the default traffic and pedestrian density. It's the one near the archs portal in Hyde Park. But there are different positions where you can start the cruise mod in London, depends from the traffic, pedestrian and the police density. And what subway entrance? There are a lot of them in London!?

Yes, yes, OK. Thank you very much, guys, for this help! I didn't know, that I have to start the game with the default traffic, pedestrian and police density.
EDIT: OK, I found them! Cool! Thanks! But why Microsoft put them into the game? For intellegent people? For some fun? Or for what? Maybe there are some not discovered easter eggs.
There you see how important this simply driving around is, even in the Checkpoint and Crash Course modes!

Sorry to dig up an old topic, but I think I found another. It is either an easter egg, or one heck of a coincidence. I had opened the default sf_sailboat.pathset file with MM2CT, and was getting ready to place some seagulls, when I noticed that the sailboats where named "PATH06", etc. So I replaced them with the sailboat object, and found this...
The sailboat paths clearly say "CAS". It seems that one of the producers knew someone named Cassie, or something like that. Maybe a wife, or daughter..?
