snowplow mod
Do you think it would be possible to make a mod that you could drive a snow plow and actually plow snow in mm2??? or is there another game/simulation that has this anywhere out there ???

You could do it with a lot of animations.
Firstly, you would need a track thats covered in snow.
Then, a snow plow vehicle. On the shadow of that vehicle:
- The front part where the shovel meets the ground, have an animation of snow being pushed to the sides of the car.
- The part behind the car (or even from the front wheels area), have an animation of a clean (no/little snow) road texture. And the further the road goes to behind the car, have snow falling back on it in a kind of an increasing gradient.
This gives me an idea for an upcoming project.

As far as I know there's no snow plow vehicle for MM2. To make the snow plowing effect it's possbile only as Silent1Unknown says, just through animations, but the result won't be very good.

It's not a bad idea, but it isn't applicable for an huge city like the in-game ones; for a little add-on city a little part with this can be done, but don't aspect a nice result.
Those kind of little objects will have lot of polygons, and this will make the game crash when the in-game city loading in most of the cases.

Well, maybe you could change the tire skidding texture to a clean road texture, and change the tuning file so that the truck skids all the time. Then in Zmodeler, make the tires wide enough so that the skidding (plowing) would be as wide as the truck. Then change the skidding sound to be a plowing sound. It may not turn out that well, but it's an idea.
