Blinker?
How do you use a blinker in mm2?
Yeah, on some other cars this feature is also used, but those ones are made by a *.movie file, it isn't possible to use for a player car flashers to the left and right. But anyway, the traffic cars can blink to left and right, when they're turning around a corner. Maybe it's possible to make them also for the player car...

The objects are called SLIGHT_0 and SLIGHT_1. They work well for traffic cars because the game knows when they are about to change lanes or make turns. However, the game doesnt know beforehand when we are going to make turns, so turn signals dont work for us.

The cars that have the blinkers have them because they're made using the rear lights objects. There's no way to get separate and switchable blinkers also for the player cars. Only the traffic cars uses the blinkers.
The blikers effect to the traffic cars is got by an animated texture, while for the traffic cars isn't so, they're made by the objects called SLIGHT_0 and SLIGHT_1, that don't work for a player car (never tried to do that).

Another idea I came up with, is by making animated textures and hiding them with transparent fender objects. So when the wheels turn, fenders also turn, revealing the animated turn signals.
But the idea of the turn signal is to turn it on before you start turning, so this method isnt that accurate.

Strange idea but possible to do. Of course it has to work for the front and rear blinkers, but the two FNDR objects works both when the wheels are turning, so the blinkers animation will be showed in both the sides steering in both the directions. Is pretty hard to get it work right, there's a very accurate work to do. More, the general result won't be so good.Another idea I came up with, is by making animated textures and hiding them with transparent fender objects. Some MM2 cars have this feature, that's not so bad made, but it's appropriate for some kind of cars.Remember me the brake disc glowing like a GTR or a F1 car.
