Underground Train 3 Pack

Postby dummiesboy » Thu Aug 27, 2009 1:34 am

I am currently making a pack of 3 trains from the London Underground. The first one is the default, retail version. It has it's original sounds, the ckickity clack of the track. The second one is the early MM2 Revisited v3 version, which is the one that was included with already released versions of the mod, but with the glow effects. It also has the sounds that came with it. The last one is the newest one! I couldn't get the acceleration sound though. it is just the idle, running, and brake sounds. I made the air break sound is the reverse sounds. They will also have improved handling, and (hopefully) have the flipping bug fixed. (When you crash)

Is anyone interested?

Hmm.. It sounds nice. :) It would be nice if you could add a little ramp and parking space for a car, that would be very cool. :P

BTW, almost forgot to mention that the Early Revsited V3 version has 2 paint jobs 1 with glow effects, and 1 without. The one without them is supposed to be the v1/2 version. :)

Why not, seems interesting have a pack of three different driveable London Underground trains. BTW, the one that you've aleady released can be enough, so for these three you have to put new and nice sounds and other features, and so far it's going so.

Yeah, I'm pretty interested. Sounds nice, but that bug was quite funny. I really liked that. :)

I remember that some people wanted dashes for the train back when the first one was released. So I tried my best for what they are...

I didn't make one for the default train, because there is none.

Also, they are just static pictures. No speedometers, gear indicators, etc. I can't really do them for them anyway.

The dashes where designed for a wide screen monitor, and should fit most of them. They will also look decent on regular monitors, too. :)

Good work, you should add | speedometers to the little dials so it would look realistic. :)

If you are talking about the old train, those dials are just added in there to make it look cool. The speedometer is that green box that says "Speed". And there is no way to add digital things to a dash.

If you are talking about the new train, the actual speedometer are the bar things at the top. I can't really make something like that for MM2.

Well, maybe. But how can I add lines that go left and right? Can it be done?

Sure, VW-Tuner-Oburg has done it before.. I guess you mess around with MM2DP or the files?

They're appropriate dashboards for such vehicles and quality, good work. Yeah, add some indicator needle, to give them a bit of animation.

You could edit out the little gear and add it, like this. Image it would be nice. ;) Maybe a reverse sound also, and some hazard lights? :D I would go watch some train videos and see how they work. ;)
