3DS Max? Heh, ZM IMO is better, to smooth out polygons press Q.
lol

There's not smooth tool for ZM1 unfortunately. Q is just a visual effect (flat shading enabled/disabled).

Indeed 3DS Max is the best about the polygons modelling.

You can't extrude or bevel from ZM1, only polys (just triangles) or splines are conceivable (no NURBS or curves). ZM1 don't have a lighting/camera/rendering system. So, to resume in few words ZM1, it's an amazing free 3D software (especially for video games) with only hands-work tools (I mean one-to-one).

ZM2 is a bit better (quad polys, chamfer/extrude/bevel tools), basic rendering and some universal tools are now available (loft, FFD and so on).

If you know how make a 3D model from 3DS Max, you didn't need to know how to do the same from ZM, just use it between Max and MM2.

In my opinion, Zmodeler is easier to use and, at least for me, faster to use.

Anyway, it is looking good so far, CarLuver69.

Update: I don't think I'm ready to finish this. You see, I have no experience in ZM. I tried following tutorials, but I have a learning disability which makes me learn really slow on some things, and apparently trying to make an MM2 car is one of them. I need to start out simple, I have some idea's on what I can do, but this project is being put away for now. I'll get back to it some other time, but I continue to learn things about ZM!

Thanks for the support guys, sorry to have let you down! :(

Yap, take your time, it's never easy to learn a new software (even that if you've 3D skills, believe me) :D

You can be a bit disappointed by seeing other projects in progress but never forget, all we were rookies in any way.
