HI, the links don't work becuase IFastnet delted the website, i have no idea why but I expect it was due to somethign goign wrong their end. I am goign away for the next 3 weeks but i can try and make it rof you before i go.

Just wondering, how can I put in my own custom fall-in-water message? Because when I open the mmlang.dll file in notepad and edit it and save it, mm2 does no longer work. It comes out with an error like "mmlang.dll is not a genuine windows .dll file" and then mm2 shuts down. Please help me with this as it's been annoying me for ages.

I've noticed that in all in-game writes (not menus images) that there are in mmlang.dll file there are a space in every letter. I don't know if you have respect this, by editing every letter and adding or removing them with a space between all letters.

Still dosen't work. It still comes out with the error "The application or DLL C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Midtown Madness 2/MMLANG.DLL is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." And then the game shuts down. But when I put the original .DLL file back into my MM2 directory the game runs fine. Any suggestions?

Modifications in a .dll file with the Notepad aren't good. Sure doing and saving any changes with Notepad the .dll file isn't more like the original, so Windows and the game doesn't succeed to read it. I don't know in which way has been edited the MM2 .dll language file by MM2BR; in that site there are the Portuguese language for the game, and also the Spoon Mod are the same .dll edited file.

Of course it gives you the non-genuine DLL message -- you edited it.

Copy the original mmlang.dll file from your disk back to the computer, then use Google to find a tool that'll help you safely modify the DLL file.
