Need help making a car mod

Hello! I am making a Ford Mustang GT (in-game) tuning... And i want it as an add-on car. I renamed the files from vpmustang99 to vpfordmustang99, than, i tried it in mm2, but no luck. Can anyone help me? I can send the .ar file through e-mail or skype. Plz help!!!

You are trying to replace the ingame Ford Mustang GT? I don't know if it's possible...

i am not trying to replace it! i am trying to make the same looking mustang, but as an add-on!

Make sure to have extracted all the default Ford Mustang GT files, then do your edits, in this case of only the tuning, change the basename in the file names, and, don't forget to change the basename in the .info file too. Now you should have a copy of that car in the game cars list with just your edits.

So you've also fixed the .info file. Dunno, now would need to check what you've done, post the .ar file.

TIPS : Make sure the INFO file in the TUNE folder has this:

basename=vpfordmustang99

and ALSO make sure when you make the AR file you make it like:

Type:ZIP
Archive name : !vpmustangaddon.ar

And by post the ar he means upload it to a file hosting site such as mediafire.

I've got the file, and all the necessary is already made well. The file name can also not have the "!" symbol ahead, it has work the same because it's made as add-on car, not a mod for the default Ford Mustang GT. I've a bit fixed the file deleting the not needed files present and adding the .csv files for the sounds. Strangely it doesn't show in-game, I think that's because of the basename, change it to something a lot different, removing the "vp" part for first. I've PMed you my version.

Franch88 is checking all new mm2 files, and it can take a while.
