When you've reposted this topic (you had check where it went before repost it...) you've written some more info, at least, but why haven't though to do that before? More you tell us of what you've done and a better help you can receive...
You've said that you were trying to open mm2core.ar file with this program; well, is normal that this program can't work with opening this file and the other three game default .ar file, because this program is designed only for the add-on cars, the ones that you download.
So, isn't possible edit the game default cars by using this program (something neither really needed IMO), need to be used other ways for this.
