The tunnel thing is in the Russian MM2. I have the english, french and russian version of this game. My recorder doesn't go well with the Russian one. But I agree with NiAlBlack! It's awesome!

There is even a little bug that could have led to a sewer. I guess most of you know that surface there which is not solid.

Yeah.. I can also see why it was scrapped. The cars are too slow to reach the final checkpoint

lol, I don't get your point of this. What do you mean? Do you mean they are too slow to jump or what? Cuz obviously they planned to have something there like a jump trailer and boats or possibly a tunnel (probably not).

What I mean is, that it was scrapped due to the time constrictions and not placed in time objects (such as boats and stuff)

This thing of the Russian language version of MM2 is new to me too. I have a mmlang.dll file downloaded years ago from a Russian MM2 related website to have the game text in this language, so because of this I thought that doesn't exists an original version of MM2 in this language.
Some of us already knew about that unused SF race checkpoints positioning .csv file where there's the finish gate on Alcatraz; it can well be a test file. Curious discovery this one of the underground tunnel present in this Russian MM2, probably made to reach Alcatraz on that race...
However, you haven't given a good proof with a screenshot of what's pratically seen in-game... There are many other ways to take screenshots, like Fraps... So far this thing is looking all invented by you, just to let you know...

Judging by the name "jump1waypoints" it sounds like you'd hit a jump trailer at a pretty decent speed and land on a barge that's in the water heading towards Alcatraz. If the name was like "sewerwaypoints" or "undergrndwaypoints" then I could consider even thinking about the whole sewer/underground path theory you guys threw out there. Just my 2 cents!

I live in Lithuania, actually, but when I was like 3 years old, my mom bought me the russian version of MM2. I have the original CD 10 years later.

Makes no sense to do that race unless:
a) You know how to get into the tunnel thing. Which doesn't seem possible

b) You have the Drive on Water v2 mod
