No, I bet they're still working on it, or else we would have been informed. However, I don't look for Classic Madness updates. It might never get finished.

I constantly look about new news for Classic madness mod on HQTM-Team's Forum. On it there's no new news from more than a month.
HQTM-Team is making this incredible mod for quality and modifies quantity from about more than two years; more than 50% has been done, especially the most hard things (player and traffic cars, a large part of the two new cities). It isn't death, sure the HQTM-Team are still making it; there are also some external users that are making other stuff for it, like the CM Radio. Click here to see the FAQ about CM.

At least 75% is done. All of the traffic cars are done, all player cars, a lot of textures for London and SF, all menu screens, and more. It seems that the the only thing they are working on now are the two tracks: Forsaken Vale and Pleasantville.

Be patient, this mod (really a mod or a new MM2 version ?) is terrific

Yep, only thing that will come close to it is the Shader Mod Gold.

Mm. Waiting for so long for a great mod takes some patience. I almost blew my head off waiting for the Shader Mod Gold. If it doesn't get done by Christmas, let's hope it's released before spring 2008.
