DiRT Showdown

Postby matt1314 » Tue Jul 31, 2012 8:35 pm

Hello everyone!

Some days ago I got the new DiRT Showdown game for my new gaming rig. It was released at the end of May and is made by Codemasters as the previous games DiRT, DiRT 2 and DiRT 3. I made a video today featuring an awesome crash in an 8 Ball race with the Kohler G350 pick-up truck.

The game is pretty fun and runs smoothly over here most of the time at 60 FPS. Sometimes it drops to 40-50 FPS in some Los Angeles arenas where there are many particle and lighting etc. effects and many cars but it's not a problem to me. Main thing is that it doesn't lag at maxed out settings. :)

So enjoy the video so far and leave some comments, please. :)

This is a really nice arcade racing game, spectacular too.
Hope you've got the free copy of this game attached with the graphic card that you've bought, dunno if it was present with it.

Nope, there wasn't a copy of it. There was a copy of DiRT 2 with my old Sapphire ATI Radeon HD5770 Vapor-X 1GB if you remember (a serial number).

Here another crash which happened by accident today in the Joyride mode.

I finished the game today BTW. :) Now I'll enjoy the Joyride mode.
