MM2X website news

On this website, MM2X.com, there are some news. Some of them there are and other will be available soon.

1. All downloads from this website are protected by a displayed password that must be writed before begin a download. This will avoid any leeching of our files, that is a possible cause of the slow MM2X files download system. More info are available when you begin a download.

2. There's a new look for the MM2 cars download section.

3. There will be an easily way to upload your creations for MM2 directly to the administrators. This last will test and publish your creation.

4. There will be a YouTube section directly on the homepage to upload your MM2 videos, a thing like the screenshots one.

5. New scripts has been used for the website; them are used for an auto report of broken links and for the new downloads passwords.

BTW I've a suggestion. Currently the screenshots are hosted on a Linux server but we know that the Windows server is faster.

Do you will fix the gallery options by replacing the currently hosting by the windows server ?

mmmh.. i can't because the php script of the gallery works under linux and it can't access on the win server (because it just use the @file_upload function) and it can upload the files on the server where the gallery is located..
btw i'm still working for fixing all the bugs on mm2x and probably i'll close all the hosted abandoned sites (wich are all full of bugs)

i hope the server wil go faster..

i already updated the forum and fixed a lot of injections (if you'll see any problem please contact me)

Another news is coming at MM2X. It regards the MM2X Screenshots website section. There will be a new feature, that lets to view all the pictures at a certain size (to be better placed in the page), but clicking on them through a popup window is possible to view them at their original sizes.

About the forum section has been solved some phpBB bugs and about the files download almost all of them has the download link from the more fast server.

Well, the MM2X Screenshots website section has the new feature, check it viewing some big screenshot.

In the forum there was a problem about the new topics subtitle/decription, that won't be displayed if put. Now has been solved.

There's a news for the MM2X website! Has been added the new Add Download function, that lets you easily upload your MM2 creations to us. After the administrators tries, it'll be published in the MM2 Downloads MM2X section.
And for the Christmas period, there's a nice snowflakes effect to all webpages.

Oops, in fact I remember that it already was in the website. So the news is only a script updating in that page.
The snowflakes effect looks nice; maybe it's a little too big.

I like the snowflakes a lot. It's just strange how the snowflakes just "disappear" after falling down the first page.
