Great work Dummiesboy. :) Very nice new graphics, the game now looks more similar to MM2 with Revisited V5. Very good for the cop cars as traffic and the no LODs (it's not as in MM2) features.

Brilliant! I knew the opponent Beetle sounded like a Roadster...

Well, uploading it to MMArchive is proving to be next to impossible, so here it is on Mediafire. Sorry for the long delay.

Enjoy!

I like very much the road and grass textures (MM2 RV5 like :D )

And the cop cars in traffic, its perfect! I know there was a mod like this, but it didnt really had worked to me

And the traffic cars in selection menu, YEY, no more manual cheat input :)

i just have a question: is it possible to add smoke by default, without having to do it by a cheat?

But the mod its very cool, congratulations. :aprobar:

Another thing, is it possible to have all the colours of the traffic cars? And join the same different coloured cars (the black and the white limo)?

Thanks man, glad you like it. :)

I looked into the smoke thing for a very long time. The issue seems to be caused by a lack of a proper InterfaceGUID in the video.cfg file, which happens to almost everyone. This number primarily affects how the menu is rendered (if the vehicle showcase is rendered in software, you don't have a proper number.) Why it affects smoke too is beyond me, although the few people who have a proper number also have smoke by default.

And about traffic, no. The models only have a primer gray color to them, and the game takes that color and applies a random one to each traffic car. They aren't pre-defined.

I see. But getting the right number is random, or what? (I use win 7 64 bits, but thanks to your tut, the game plays in hardware, thanks ;) ) And my showcase is in software.

And the traffic, is it total random color, or does it choose from a default palette of colors?

It's different for each configuration, and your MM1 really needs to love your video card for the number to be right.

And the traffic car colors are defined in the EXE, but applied to any of them that has the primer color.

So I guess Ill just to have to input the cheat every time, I can live with that (as I had lived until today ;) ).

Just dont understand why Rockstar, i mean, Angel Studio (so confusing), did the smoke as a cheat, as if it would by default (for everyone, and not only the loved graphic cards :P ) bring more interest for the game. Sometimes I just dont understand producers lol.

Making an MM1 Revisited 2.1. First order of business is to improve the road textures some. I darkened all of them by 10%, which looks better... also tweaked some other smaller things.

However, today, I also gave Snowy weather a complete facelift. Spent a few hours making a few snow overlays, and applied them to ground textures. The result? Well... pretty amazing.

I've got a laundry list of things to do for this update. More news soon.

Cool look for the new snowy roads textures, really much better. :) Dunno, maybe is better remove all those white pixels, that badly emulates the snow fallen on the road, use the default roads to make the new snowy weather version ones. Very good idea also for the wheels smoke hidden (it shouldn't affect also the damages smoke) with the snowy weather.

I was thinking the same thing with the pixels. I'll have to consider it a bit more.. the MM1 community likes the default MM1 a bit too much, even if some things are kinda bad. Not sure if they'd like me taking out the unique snow effect.
