Audi TT Ghost

I decided to go back to my old ways for a little while today and make another weird car. This one is a ghost Audi TT, with a style inspired by the Secret Shadow paintjob for the Panoz GTR-1, and no bound. This allows you to drive through virtually any objects, and get creative with new ways to get around the city. If you're really good, for example, you could pass through a building in London, and end up in the subway! I've submitted it for download here on the site, but until then, you can get it here. :)

Here's a video showing it in action, using Instant Replay. :)



In this video, I show off both the Instant Replay mode (which comes with MM2 Revisited v5.1), and my latest addon, the Audi TT Ghost, a vehicle with the unique ability to pass through anything.
You may be wondering why you hear lamp posts and parking meters break throughout the video... after all, it passes through everything, so why would it hit stuff? Truth is, I have no clue. The car's bound is virtually non-existent, so that's not what is hitting those props. Let's just say that it haunts lights as it goes by, so that the city is forever in darkness... and it's low on cash, so it raids parking meters. This issue has been fixed now though, in the MM2X release.

In case you can't see what's going on at the end (and I don't blame you if you can't), the car trips over a parked compact car, and falls through the world. xD

I've already done this with Panoz GTR-1. It has an extremely small bound that too under the ground. :) Here a screenshot from mm2x.

I actually made a car like this about 5 years ago, but I sort of jacked the model from an addon car I liked at the time, so I didn't release it.. :P

Anyway, I fixed the bound issues. The issue was with the size of the bound.. it was pretty much atomic size. For some reason, that makes the car want to hit specific props if you go near them. So now I took the default TT bound, raised it by 7000 on the Y axis, and now it doesn't hit anything at all, not even other cars in multiplayer, surprisingly. This updated version will be downloadable on MM2X.

So now I took the default TT bound, raised it by 7000 on the Y axis,
I rather lowered the atomic size bound upto approximately 100m below the surface. :P People get lifted off the road in CnR, trying to take gold from me.

That's good as long as you don't jump too high, lol. Although something I want to do is make this car work in CnR... I'll try some stuff out.
