My thoughts exactly! IMO, we should go solar. Pay a solar company to install the equipment, and then no further electric bills, except for those who don't have enough yard for windmills or roof for solar panels.

And yeah, the president is nuts. I just hope that's all he is, and that he's not ruining us on purpose.

Well, by the looks of some solar cars, let's just stick with our normal gasoline and just prepare by converting our cars into those FlexFuel cars I was talking about.

I'd rather drive that Dodge Caravan instead of that ugly solar car.

This car is VERY out of place. Maybe a 1972 Dodge Valiant Charger R/T would look better in this one.

Does a human being fit in that car without major modifications to his/her skeleton?

I mean, this car is small. But honestly, it doesn't look that bad.

Oh that is NOT a car to carry passengers, and you're comparing it with other commercial cars. :|

Then what is the sense of having a car that doesn't carry passengers?

I was trying to tell you that the idea of making a solar car is stupid. And people can actually fit in those cars, like a baby. Or, someone that's actually older than they look, so they look real small for their age.

Well, since I'm not a baby by any means, I guess we'll have to wait for better cars. :P Or make them ourselves - now that would be a nice summer project. Just kidding. :p

Actually I was talking about solar in place of coal for electricity not fuel. Yeah, solar cars are pretty lame.

wow this is an old topic
but yeah; transitioning to electric and sustainable energy is the best we can do to prevent pollution
batteries are undeniably top-tier lately and with constant improvement and now are easier replacement for cars and small planes than ever
big commercial ones still are waiting to be viable from a lot of battery optimization; that is> much less weigh for much more battery
