MM1 crashes when I select cloudy weather except cloudy night

Every time I select morning cloudy, noon cloudy, or evening cloudy weather in MM1, the game will crash straight to my desktop when I try to load the game under those weather settings. I have no idea why it does this!

Here's what I've ruled out so far:

It's not because of a corrupted core.ar file. It's 89,262 kb, which appears to be the typical size of core.ar I think.

It's not because of addons/mods. When I remove every mod from my MM1 folder, the game will still crash in cloudy weather.

This isn't really super-important to fix, as the cloudy weather setting will work just fine when I use MM1 Revisited V3. The problem is that I want to take some unmodded MM1 screenshots for a website...

Yes, try reinstalling. And use no mods.

Weird problem, indeed. Before try with the game reinstalling, try to create a new player profile/savegame, maybe that's enough to be able to make load the gameplay with those time of day and weather combinations.
