It seems to be an amazing mod. Perhaps Az has got problems with his computer and he can't be online (if he cancelled the project, i think he told us). Now it's too early to say the projects is cancelled.

All conversions can be released by the owners as private conversions but as for the project, no.

That's too bad. I was really looking forward to this mod. At least the cars may be released.

Kyle is right, also if this is a common project between some people, the cars are converted by some of them, and so they are their own conversions; I know that the tuned Nissan 350Z is converted by Kyle, while all the other cars are by Azbestos8. So, if would be possible release only the cars as stand alone releases, a reply of Azbestos8 is necessary, also about the cancelling of this mod.
