Finally, a good graphics game as MM2!

Very cool. If the game is going to be this way, I'll certainly buy it.

And if you could keep that HUD, that would be awesome! ;)

This game is going to be free. And.. MM2 is 1999. Graphics are horrid.

I've been seeing some videos and got myself the cryengine sdk and I have a question. Is it possible to (as this is going to be a racing game) at starting the game, spawning inside the car, instead of having to walk to it?

So, how is it going? I saw the BeamNG video (similar to RoR) and I saw the real possibilities of CryEngine. Are you thinking on integrating a Soft Body Physics like RoR? Or it will be like the MM2 engine, just visual? (talking about damages ;) )

Can I ask you why did you stop to work with Unity ? The version 4 is now available with a lot of changes.

Have you thought about UDK ? CryEngine isn't bad at all however.

Good luck for your project.

We stopped using Unity because you simply cannot make a professional looking game for one. And with Cryengine, you can edit the whole engine and it's core to suit your own needs. So, it's a lot nicer to use.

UDK isn't good for racing games. It's really geared towards shooters and is difficult to implement a racer in it.

So, are there any updates? Have you already made a map or something? I'm curious ;)

It's more of not being ready to show anything interesting...but there is progress!

If you're the type who likes to "investigate" files (or so to say) you just might find a surprise...if you do, kudos to you (but don't tell anyone)! HINT: Use a hex editor!

A small preview. The current city(larger than shown in the image below), currently stands at over 340,000 polygons.
