I just found another bug in MM2. It can easily be fixed and would be nice to have it in MM2 revisited 4.2: Some damages are not working. To let the damaged textures work they have to be exactly the same filesize as the non-damaged textures but a few of them aren't. Since now i found these: vpf350black_sd; vpf350red_sd; vpf350red_bk; vpf350red_ft. I already fixed these, but I don't have the file on this computer. I'll upload it tomorrow on mediafire and give you the link. When seaching for mor of these bugs i also found that the damages for vpauditttiger_bk are not working, but when trying to fix that i noticed that vpauditttiger_bk_dmg is not existing in the default .AR files. Possibly it's only because my CD is scratched (it's 10 years old and I installed it on my new computer a few weaks ago). possibly the file is in the beta or in the demo version of the game. otherwhise I'll trie to make it from scratch. I found this out when working on a new mod, which will add scratch-made colors to the default vehicles (and some others), and the fix is also gonna be included, but who won't have this mod, should also have other possibilities

Ok DB, here you can get the fix: https://www.mediafire.com/?1tq6kvlexv2c68d
Is it avaiable as a mod or where to get it? And does the damage texture look like the originals from other paintjobs or different. And I also wanted to ask if I was allowed to use the texture when uploading my colors pack?I fixed ALL of the TT textures so the brakelights blend in nicely, Tiger has damage paintjob on the back, and various other fixes.so what have you done?

Long time no see. Revisited 4.2 is no longer in production... it's been replaced by Revisited 5. It's been in production for a little while now. I know, I know... I'm a hypocrite. Truth be told, I'm not sure I'll ever stop modding MM2. I might take some large breaks, but I always seem to end up coming back. Anyway, here's the news.
There have been several small additions to the mod since my last update, but I won't bother going into those right now. You'll be able to learn about everything this mod does in the Readme. Yeah, I'm also gonna finally detail everything, something that I should have done since the beginning.
I'll just jump right into the big stuff. MM2 Revisited has now become a full fledged graphics mod. I no longer recommend the use of the Shader Mod 2.. in fact, I suggest not using it, as it would cause conflicts and mess up my perfectly balanced tweaking. So far, I've only really got SF Noon looking good. But it was worth the work, it looks very realistic now. I went off of several real life pictures to modify the textures with. Here are some images.
Foggy and Rain are still in progress, shots of those weather conditions will come soon. Is there a release date scheduled for this mod? No, although I hope to get it done before summer break is over in august. With this mod, I am going through and correcting every last detail I can find. I'm hoping for this to be one of the best mods ever released for MM2 when it's done.

Amazing return with the progress of this mod, I was a bit expecting that there will be the fifth release. Great idea make it also a full graphic mod like the Shader Mod 2, great look so far.
It already is, and has always beaten itself release after release.I'm hoping for this to be one of the best mods ever released for MM2 when it's done.

Just beautiful, keep up the good work.
In the noon-foggy screenshot is visible a line parallel to the road, given because of the texture that doesn't repeat well. This glitch there's also with the Shader Mod 2, instead by default it's not so noticeable. Better see to fix it.

Thanks Franch. Don't worry whoami, I'm optimizing the mod as much as possible.
Anyway, I've now finished Morning and Evening. Here are the remaining Morning weather types.
Cloudy:
Foggy:
Rainy:
And now, for evening.
Clear:
Cloudy:
Foggy:
Rainy:
Hope these are good enough. The lighting system in MM2 is god awful, anything on psdl other than facades are always fullbright. But I think I got some nice looking results here.

Yeah, the lightning system in MM2 is really bad, and it differs pretty much between PSDL terrain (MM2 cities include buildings too and use a .csv file for the facades) and PKG objects, but despite this, you've really got a very good result, the best possible probably. Very good work.
