Fourth news. These are some in-game pictures of my Dacia Logan conversion. :)

Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image

This is the stock of the situation now; only few things needs to be done. I'm still waiting for any results from DjDecibel about my beta version given to him.

Things done:
1. Created the folders structure;
2. Made the 3D car model with the driver and the detachable parts for MM2 in ZModeler;
3. Found the nine colors and names in the Dacia Logan official website;
4. Made the other paintjob textures;
5. Start the making of the dashboard with the two versions;
6. Selected the sounds to use for engine and horn;
7. Made the damages file and the car tuning;
8. Created a first version of the Readme file.

Things to do:
1. End the making of the dashboard with the two versions;
2. Do the vehicle showcase;
3. End the Readme file.

Soon the release date. Stay tuned. :D

NICE WORK!

EDIT: Do you need a showcase for your car? I'm good at making them, like my Enzo SE.

Fifth news. I've got a list of bugs and little improvements to do by DjDecibel.
One of these regards the hang handles on the top of the interiors; them have a wrong texture applicated, like the tenth image leaves show very well. Another important improve to do regards the body textures, that with the 16 bit graphic quality of Midtown Madness 2 it's very ugly; just mitigate the smooth effect from the body texture.
Then is probably that the release date will be translated at least for half next week, but with these improvements it's worth. :)
I'm finishing the dashboard making and for the vehicle showcase I've the same texture like that of the MM2 vehicle showcase edited by me using some in-game extracted textures, so Dark Ritual, thank you for your request but I have in mind how to implement it. :wink:

Sixth news. Thanks to DjDecibel for it's beta tester support. Due to he a lot of things has been improved, like body textures, engine RPM's, texture for internal handles and for headrest supports, red light texture for tail and brake lights and still in making, add the brake calipers for wheels. There's a problem to solve, and it regards the detachable parts.

This is the stock of the situation at this point; the car is nearly done, and due to the improvements to do reported by DjDecibel, I've made more better this car conversion. :)

Things done:
1. Created the folders structure;
2. Made the 3D car model with the driver and the detachable parts for MM2 in ZModeler (finally improved);
3. Found the nine colors and names in the Dacia Logan official website;
4. Made the other paintjob textures (then improved);
5. Made the dashboard with the two versions (there's some little improvement to do);
6. Selected the sounds to use for engine and horn;
7. Made the damages file and the car tuning;
8. Made the vehicle showcase;
9. Created a first version of the Readme file.

Things to do:
1. End the Readme file.

Soon the release date. Stay tuned. :D

Seventh news. The car is done! I haven't received any news by DjDecibel about a second beta version sent to him, so I think that the second beta version with the new upgrades made in these days to the car, then the final version, can be release. This means that the brake calipers has been added to the model and the problem that regards the detachable parts has been solved. :)

These are some new images of my convertion with the improvements. :)

And this is the release date, also reported in the car Readme.txt file:

The date is tomorrow, 27th of October 2007. :D

In this date the car maybe will be available at this site, MM2 eXtreme, but at least in the first day of next week, sure it'll be on this website. :D I give my permission to publish this car also in other important sites, like MM2 Brasil and MMArchive. ;)
I don't know if I'll put a personal link to my car file hosted in some website to allow you to download it tomorrow.

Eighth news. The car is now done, but DjDecibel hasn't sent me any reply about the second beta version given to him for possible other improvements to do to it. :| I've also sent the final version to him, but since he's a lot of busy I haven't received any message and no publishing in this site.
So I've given it to Gafaddict and in this weekend it'll be available at this site. ;)

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Actually I have no ideas about which car I can convert, but maybe I'll made a next new conversion for MM2. Just receive another allow by the author of next car to convert. :)
