Never use cars that have moving cameras(when you turn, the camera moves). Those cars are #1 for causing trouble.
Are you sure? That cars uses different values in one of the three cameras. I don't believe that for this reason that cars can give troubles.
I've tried many times to get as many add-ons into MM2 as possible, and whenever I do it, I find that low poly cars (or "crazy" cars) almost never conflict with each other or with high poly cars.
This is possible. This is also given by a low size .ar file, that for the game is more appropriate.
If a car is more similar to the game one's, is more hard that the game will crash for cars conflicts and "memory overlap" problems.

Yes. When there is too much in the directory, the game will just say "Fatal Error: Memory overload."

Yeah, the ones I am referring to are most of the cars on www.midtownmadness2.de , most are no bigger than 1MB.

This is given because seems that MM2 uses a limited quantity of RAM memory. We have to try to see how much RAM memory uses the game while running. Just launch the Windows Task Manager and see how much memory uses MM2 through task Processes schedule.

That would be impossible? I mean, you can't see the processes while mm2 is running and if you have mm2 minimized, it is automatically paused.

Yes, the game go in pause, but is always possible to see how much RAM memory it uses. ;)

I can tell how much I use. I press Alt-Tab to minimize mm2, I start Task Manager, and it says mine uses 51K.
