Could be the MM2 .exe file the problem? Have you tried with the No-CD available at MM2BR? Try also to reinstall the MM2 Windows XP Patch and the Nvidia GPU's patch (not necessary).

Since it works on my main HDD I've moved on. It isn't necessary to have it on the other one, I was only doing that to save space.

It's been solved for a few days....I guess no one quite understood. Although like I said, I cannot play it on the secondary HDD, but that is no problem.

So this problem was given because you've put the MM2 folder on the secondary HDD, and MM2 doesn't work properly on it.
Better have installed the game on the primary HDD and don't move or delete the game folder (to put in in another HDD or to "uninstall" it). :)

If you mean to copy the installed MM2 folder in another HDD to backup it's so useless if you can install it from the CD.
You have only to do a backup of the downloaded MM2 add-ons if you want.
