OK, I guess I will not worry much about that. I will get another fan/heat sink if needed for the video card or CPU; maybe I will also get heat spreaders for all the RAM.
Especially if you do a massive use of the video cars, like hours games playing, you could need a new fan and/or heat spreader for the CPU or the video card. For the RAM memory DIMM's, if the heat spreader there isn't for default, it's useless buy one for it.
I'm not sure how much of and issue this all will be, I know one thing though: no more leaving my computer on overnight.
This is a really wrong way to use the PC. It's useless and expensive leave the PC in standby quite for months!

Yes, I did this mainly with my very old 1GHz computer. Mainly I did not know better and figured it could handle it. In the end I think that is what made the motherboard fry.

Isn't good copy the computer specifications dispeyed by the OS. We want to know other things. :P
What's a flick stick? :? :P
Yeah, what's that? Is it the pen drive?
What is your video card?
From the stick in the case it must be and ATI Radeon. Maybe it's some X300 or X1300/X1600.
It says also that the integrated graphic card is an ATI Xpress.

What do you mean "find that info that I couldn't find" It's just what your stuff is, you should know. :P

I think you can find some of it if you poke around XP. You can also do the test that tests your computer to see if it can run certain games, it should tell you exactly what you have.

Yeah that is not a whole lot of RAM. If you had a desktop PC you could buy some more cheap ram (like $25 for 512MB) and add it in. I think some laptops allow you to add more RAM though.

It seems that the best version of Vista can only utilize 4GB (Vista Ultimate or 64bit). Although some motherboards are made to handle 32GB. :o
