Most of the modeling is done, trivial stuff left (mirror, keyholes...). I was just trying out a different way of adding doorlines (by drawing instead of carving). It doesnt look too good. Why is it so blurry? [The model size is 512p while the texture size is 1024p. And the lines are drawn at a thickness of 1p.]
How do you guys make your doorlines so crisp and smooth?

Make the car doorlines through the car body color texture isn't the best way to make them. Anyway some NFS car models that uses doorlines texture have a good look, but that textures is assigned to a flat thin object that cover the body parts where the doorline have to be.
Try to make the lines in a smooth way. There are some old low polygons models that uses 1 pixel doorlines made in Paint, and the final result is bad.

I guess I'll have to make the thin line of polies and color them darker than body color. That probably means no damage textures. Maybe. Big IF.
Anyway, I found some advice on how to make a dashboard, so I think I will make that too. If you know of any shortcuts or general tips, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT: Oh. I have a question. If I'm making all the objects flat, can I just make a bunch of flat square objects and have transparencies where necessary (using Alpha channels)?

Yes, you can do that; the NFS car models uses smooth doorline texture with alpha channel, for a better result. Just check in-game those details of my NFS M3 or Brera convertions.Oh. In these doorline flat polygons is better remove the shading from the material using the Maxoff's .pkg filter or the MM2CT program File Explorer tool (if you want to deepen this part, just ask).

It looks very nice, keep it up! The door lines now are less visible and more defined.

Wow, great progresses in little time. It looks very good.
For me the gold color isn't so bad, but the yellow one is better.

Silent1Unknown, I have sothing to say about the model. Would be better to add a driver model inside the car.

I'm sure you all are aware of the release of the 1977 Chevrolet Camaro Bumblebee Edition. If not, here is the direct link to the download page.
Actually, I'm also going on a vacation tomorrow. You won't hear from me for atleast 3 weeks. So until then, take care and bye to all.
