Someway, somehow, I have managed to screw up somewhere on Country Side and I now have 1-2 geometry errors in MM2City Toolkit; I have searched and searched, but can not find them for the life of me and I have ran out of ideas as to where the errors could be. Keep in mind that this is a 9,190 poly track, so it isn't exactly quick, easy, or fun to search the entire thing for the 1 or 2 little errors.

So yeah, it could be awhile until Country side is released... I have worked some more on Palm Sands and have big plans for it. I have also made quite a bit of the remake for Wilderness. Soon I will work on Mountain Pass some and get it released quickly.

Wilderness remake in progress:

I have not done any textures for it yet, just a good amount of terrain.

Looks nice.

Too bad the problem with the PSDL of Country Side, because it's hard to fix. It should be a simple problem of not connected vertices, but is hard find which ones are.
Very nice new textures, keep up the nice work.

I wonder if you can use the Select>Separated function in ZM to help you find them.

Well I just tried that (I forgot that existed) but it doesn't just select one or two vertices/faces that are not properly connected, it does like MM2City Toolkit and selects almost all of the vertices/faces...sorta. As far as I can tell it highlights every vertice/face of the object as if it has selected them all, but then in the status bar at the bottom where is shows how many is selected it doesn't have them all. :? It's like it selects them all but it doesn't. :?

EDIT: I tried it with a new object and it just selected all faces/vertices.

Maybe it would work good with the latest Zmodeler 2?

Actually, it selects all the vertices/faces that are connected to each other, whether they are in a "chain" or "web" type fashion. So, the border of the red (selected) faces/vertices and non-red (non-selected) faces/vertices tells you where the disconnected faces, edges, or vertices are.

I think they should have named the function Select>Connected instead. Would have made more sense I think. :P

Everything is red, there is no non-red. :?

Another solution could be to select all vertices of the object and scale them to a very big size. The disconnections may be more clear to see because the gaps should also widen with the scaling.

No, it seems that it just isn't noticeable at all. It's as if it really wasn't anything I did, but Zmodeler just screwed up and didn't quite connect it, but got it very, very close.

YES. I FIXED IT. YAY.

I found a place where there was one or two doubled faces, which I deleted. I still had errors though. So I did Select>Separated, then Select>Invert, and looked around. I still could not see them (WTF!?). I did Modify>Delete, exported it to a 3DS file, imported it into MM2City Toolkit and there were no errors. So somehow I had over 156 doubled/useless faces that I could not see at all.:roll::roll:

Sometimes the separated selection tool doesn't works as it should work. Also, you could try to switch to another view like the vertices one instead of the faces one to use that tool, this can help a lot; I used this view instead of the other one to remove the double polygons from the 3D model of a car that I've converted, and it was easier than use the faces view.
Glad that you've fixed it, sometimes invert the selecting and delete the selected things can help too. :)

I had tried faces and vertices but neither helped. I even tried edges but that wouldn't work at all.

Maybe 62,000+ trees is too many, but it sure does look nice.
