That is right, the high polygons traffic cars is guarantee the game crashes, but this traffic cars have under 3000 polygons. The MW cars have 25000-35000 polygons. This is the drivable cars. I testing this and I hope it is will working. I try making a CPUMODEL cop car and I will testing this. That is right this is a carpack. I don't understand, why is a bad idea? :?

It's not a bad idea. You can mod anything you want to the game. Don't listen to the rest.

That looks great, high detailed traffic in MM2, but in a creepy system it will lag badly.

The bad idea there's in make a so big carpack with even more than 50 vehicles, considered high polygons for the game, with the result in having a too big archive to downlaod before and to load by the game after. And with your NFS Hot Pursuit mod/carpack, you've indeed made various .ar files with the INFO files for each car model right to let the user decide which ones play, because obviously it's impossible have them all in the vehicle selecting menu, otherwise the game crashes. Well, is there an advantage than make cars add-ons separately where the user picks and downloads the cars that wants to play and can manage them in a better way? Really, no.
The similar kind of mod that NFS_Most_Wanted user is doing here it's more in the limits of MM2 about models and polygons counts issues, but still, the amount of cars is being too high to let have them all in the game.
About the new models used for traffic, an amount of 3000 polygons is pretty high, and they neither look really great; a perfect example of models for traffic very well textured is given by Silent1Unknown and his canceled traffic mod making project. At least the AI cop car, where it's visible that's a lower LOD model taken from Driver San Francisco, with about 3000 polygons it's ok for that purpose.
Unfortunately with MM2 you can't exaggerate and can't have a freedom with the use the models that you wish and have lot of cars to select. It's always the same old game with its limited game engine.

You're doing a good work with models converting and you're showing to know stuff into this. Would be interesting see a car add-on release by you with all the features made and improved at your best, and also trying to make you first dashboard.
Then, you can well continue with the making of such big carpacks facing all the problems that they give to the game. The choice it's yours, of course.

I know, I'm not attempting to block him, something impossible then... Ain't I can physically block him from staying in front his PC making the mod. :P All has been a my opinion, with some fact and suggestions.

Lacsek, nevermind my words in case you're contrary to them, the choice it's obviously yours and free in what you want to do.

I liked the progress shown so far, but damn the pictures took long to load. Please save them as jpeg instead of png next time.

Franch is not stopping you from making this mod, but letting you know some problems you might face with this mod. I'm sure we all want this mod, but due to farmiliarity with MM2's limits, we expect it wont work in the end.

But we dont know because its not done and MM2 might surprise us. If you are close to 75% done the traffic part and had no problems or serious lags so far, my opinion is to continue. But if you only replaced few (25%) traffic cars, take heed of Franch's advice. It will save you from frustration later.

Thanks Silent, and I accept your advice. Franch, I understand the problem. I hope this traffic cars are working. If not, I remove this traffic and I try making. But it has got too long time to make. I try testing this mod on a low system PC and I write the news.
