I cannot express enough how stressful it is to make all of these intersections by scratch. Usually the way I made intersections in past cities was "puzzle pieces" that I would build away from the road, but this time around I don't have those to use, so I have to manually build each intersection by hand D:

I'll eventually get them all connected, then comes the terraforming :D

Whoa, wait, what? 3DS Max doesn't have any handy Copy-Paste feature? I guess you might have needed to make several no matter what, and modify a lot of them, but building each one by scratch is hardcore. :o

if course 3DS max has that option :

nice city btw :) ... have you thought of what type of city it is going to be ? i think it would be better to have a mass population city with skyscrapers , penthouses and things like that :) , just like New York , Tokyo etc :)

The type of city I was aiming for was Archipelgao-esque, with local shops, a few gas stations, police station, a lighthouse, all that kind of stuff. Think of it as a neat little community/peninsula (probably the wrong word :/) type of place. I think Hawaii inspires me, too.

No no, it's because I used splines to make the roads.

Haha, thanks man.

In other news, I have created Coastal County's very first unique traffic car:

This..."thing" will be showing up around Coastal City very rarely, but when you do encounter it, make sure you ram him off the road and see what he has to say about that! ;)

Due to recent budget cuts in Coastal County, the local police branch had to downgrade to their 1970s Chevrolet Vega's until they can raise enough money to use their Mustang's again...

Have you wondered why progress is going very, very slow in terms of finishing up the intersections? Here's why:

Very nice cars models. The mirrors of the police car need to be fixed, you can use the one of your Plymouth Belvedere GTX model, making it as breakable object too.
Yes, I think that we all already know why the city making progress is going slow, it's indeed because of the intersections that you're making one by one. Continue the patience work.

Haha, I didn't even notice the mirrors were left on the texture for the Vega. I will probably just photoshop it out since it's not absolutely required ;)
