I have some stability issues though, I can't use some of my cars because the game crashes when I start a race. :?

Did you run the Heap patch to your exe? Because I haven't this issue.

It's not a heap overun error. While testing cars, I found the Mustang Fastback, the Double Decker Bus, the LTV, and the GTR-1 didn't work and one of my addon cars didn't work either.

What type of crashing giving error or not? And testing in race or cruising?

It's the help find heap failed on prt error, this has happened to me in Cruise mode.

It's normal and sometimes happens, but for me this happens once or twice per day. Try to play the game without dgVoodoo and tell me what happened.

How do I disable dgVoodoo?

You have to open dgVoodoo then go to DirectX section and mark on "Disable and passthru to real DirectX"

Disabling dgVoodoo stops the effects, but said cars will cause a game crash when I go drive.

So this is your game problem not dgVoodoo or ReShade.

That feature looks awesome!! :o

I suppose I will keep a copy or two of my MM2 Exe before using this.
Even though my MM2 is already patched (for heap overrun and max cops) I prefer to be careful. Anyway, with all these patches, MM2 evolved quicker in a couple of years in the graphics/gaming area than it did for the first 10 years!

You don't need to backup your MM2 exe, has it does not edit the executable itself, but adds instead .dll's to it's folder, so no danger. If it doesn't work, just do as The_Most_Wanted said :P

So this is your game problem not dgVoodoo or ReShade.
I fixed the issue, I removed one of my mods and forgot to delete the players folder, the addon car I mentioned had a different problem.
