sure thats no problem, I think i will only need 3 cars now,

Im not gonna do the entire set of player cars, however what I need is 3 cars, one to replace the cab, once to replace the Mustang and one that the player will do the crash courses in.

So if I replace vpbullet (fastback) with octavia, and vpcab with the fabia,

how does that sound?

I may also use them as the traffic cars too if that is ok with you.

however first I will finish the main part of the mod. And I am also going out now.

For me isn't important what car replace with them. Just replace them with similar ones for type. This choice sounds good.

Again, for the traffic, is better to use low polygons models. And, a .pkg traffic car model is different than the player car one; you need to work on it.
Try to use different car models for traffic.

Wow, another cool design. 8O I imagine, it would look really cool in MM2. Is your system Ubuntu 8.04 and Wine?

RC1 Release Date

September 2nd 2008, 19:55:00 (GMT)

However what I didn't think about when choosing a date was my availability.

Basically, I am away on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, which means I have today and Sunday to complete the mod and program an auto release script that can release the mod whilst I am away.

The release script is easy enough.

Also the cd player crashes for me, would be very grateful if some1 could say if that is caused by my computer or invert mod.

In the actual state the mod is good. Your new menu are one of the most beautiful ever seen, only the ones of the Classic Madness for me are better made.
It adds an helicopter as new player vehicle, and changes something in the traffic cars. I've to try the CD player as you've said.
If you've got too problems putting also the replaced player cars, is better to release it without them. But, have you found all the cars to replace? Have you tried replacing only 2 or 3 cars?

Edit: I've tried it giving more time. This is how the CD player look, it doesn't give problems to me. Sure you get this problem because of the problems given by your graphic card; you've talked about them.

ok, thanks I will tend to that, what do you think of the new cd player?

I was hoping that the cd player was my bug, also i think there is a bug in the multiplayer section on the race selects.

I don't use the CD player, so for me it's ok. It looks like a mobile phone display.
Fix the maps in all SF and London loading screens, because they're blury. Take the original ones from the in-game menu files.

can you check the multiplayer menus for race select, as they look messed up for me but with my comp I can never tell if it is me or the mod.

For a reason I can't get there, my game freezes when I try to host a race; that's the only way that I can do to go in the track selection in multiplayer. Probably the menu error it's a problem of your PC, because all the .jpg menu files looks ok.
Anyway, I've discovered that the vehicle showcase of the add-on helicopter has a wrong name: it's ah64a_apache_show.jpg instead of heli_show.jpg. Also, there isn't the _ulck.jpg picture.
