Second news. I'm having some troubles with this high detailed model. The game isn't able to let it work in-game because of too vertices. So, I'm deleting some hidden objects like the engine.
These are two ZModeler screenshots of my thirteenth conversion.
This is the stock of the situation after a week of work.
Things done:
1. Created the folders structure;
2. Start the making of the 3D car model for MM2 with the detachable parts and the driver in ZModeler;
3. Made the other paintjob textures;
4. Made the damages file and a first version of the car tuning;
5. Created a first version of the Readme file.
Things to do:
1. End the making of the 3D car model for MM2 with the detachable parts and the driver in ZModeler;
2. Select the sounds to use;
3. Make the dashboard with the two versions;
4. Make the vehicle showcase;
5. Adjust the car tuning files;
6. End the Readme file.
Soon the in-game pictures and the release date. Stay tuned.

Third news. Now the troubles are gone. Thanks to Riva for his help and suggestions.
I used a too long name for the car in the vehicle selection screen, and the game crashes after seleted the car. I remember this note, but I'd forgot it while having troubles with the 3D model.
This is the stock of the situation now, after the troubles got with it. Now I'm going to make the dashboard and adjusting its tuning.
Things done:
1. Created the folders structure;
2. Made the 3D car model for MM2 with the detachable parts and the driver in ZModeler;
3. Found the ten colors and names in the Fiat Grande Punto official website;
4. Selected the sounds to use;
5. Made the other paintjob textures;
6. Made the damages file and a first version of the car tuning;
7. Created a first version of the Readme file.
Things to do:
1. Make the dashboard with the two versions;
2. Make the vehicle showcase;
3. Adjust the car tuning files;
4. End the Readme file.
Soon the in-game pictures and the release date. Stay tuned.

Fifth news. All the things has been done, and I've also received a reply from Riva about testings. I can say a release date; it's, also reported in the car Readme.txt file:
The date is tomorrow, 3rd of July 2008.
In this date the car will be available at this site, MM2 eXtreme.
Of course, I give my permission to publish this car also in other important sites, like MM2 Brasil and MMArchive.

I've made the dashboard to be played with the 17 and 19 inchs LCD monitors at the maximum screen resolution of 1280x1024 pixel. In any lower resolution than it, there will be empty areas on the sides. I'll release a patch for the lower resolutions.
The car doesn't always hit the sidewalks; it hits them only if you're turning the car or in a downhill. I don't think that the BOUND object needs to be adjusted for this reason.
My latest conversion is now available at MMArchive and at MM2BR.
