i thought i was the only one who converted the sa default cars. i did almost all of them minus street racers and sports cars. did you make teh night time light textures for the lights? all my headlights and taillights are fused with TLIGHT_L and are mapped to the night textures

Franch : Thanks mate ! I envisage to do multiple car packs in relation with dashboards. The cars doens't replace the twenty original but it's a good idea for later.

Richard : My goal is to replace the GTA SA default wheels by wheels with more details and to attribute a dashboard for each car. I don't remember that your mod proposes cars coming from GTA SA.


Here's two new converted cars, the Ferrari "Turismo" F40 and the Porsche "Comet" 911 Targa, two 1990's models.

I'd envisaged to make a new dashboard for each but unfortunately the majority of cars are old and I didn't find full-face photos.

I know, this is very hard. You can always use edited default MM2 cars dashboard for the cars without real dashboard founded photos. :wink:

The dashboards look good enough to me, taking that the cars aren't high-poly. :)

Jealous of Hummfred or Maxoff ? For sure not. HQTM is the best team never seen for a video game. Their work is amazing, endpoint.

I started a similar mod years ago by replacing the MM2 traffic cars with GTA3/VC cars but I stopped this project. I've also used some VC cars about a Fredzaza's convertion (the famous Renault Premium).

To be honest I saw a topic from GTAForums.com where a guy started a mod for GTA SA by improving basic cars (3D, textures). From that moment I told myself : "that would be nice to do the similar with GTA SA cars into MM2".

My goal isn't to replace the twenty basic MM2 cars but to purpose fifty new low poly cars like always except that the main rules is : new 3D wheels, low poly GTA SA parts, driver + dashboard for each, the whole available like a mod.

So, the six first cars of the first LP car packs is done. Two other cars are done for the second car packs.

This is a very nice project, great work! :D ;)

If the cars will be 50 and there will be 12 cars in each pack, I think that the carpacks will be at least 4.
The car pack will be diveded also for car types besides the dashboards? It's possible to do this. :)

I don't know if I well understood your question Franch but a car pack will propose cars with different dashboard/sounds/handling/textures/lights, I can't add two cars while using the same dashboard base because the modifications aren't took into consideration at that time.
