Nice. You've gotten a good start on your GMC Canyon car.:)

Thanks, I had to remake the are above the wheel well. I have to have rectangles in order to get everything as smooth and curved as it needs to be. The front will probably not be very realistic, after about 1999 all trucks suddenly seemed to need very big, super fancy fronts.

I will try to make it as realistic as I can though.

Yes, good start with the GMC Canyon. I know, it's a problem to got a realistic model, and make a smooth curve is a pain. :?

Yes, that is supposed to be a truck...with the same cartoony look as always. :P

Good job HR (if I can call u like this)

The main things is to understand the extrudation and the poly placement (vertices).

And I think that it is the case :P Good luck for the next.

Good work HummersRock. :) The cartoony look (a little like your Hummer H3) it's quite good. :P

You can call me that, sure.

Yeah, those are the hard things.

Thanks.

Thanks. I have started rebuilding it though. The reason is I want to have it looking good so I am wanting to model the grill. With the way it was I didn't have enough polies for the grill.

I have not done much so no picture yet.

EDIT:

I have now done more:

The mirroring isn't well done, but the work looks good. :)

Yeah, I did it lazily just to kinda show how big it will be; otherwise, I would have wielded it together. There are some problems but I'll fix them. I'm modeling it with reference pics and I feel they are having me make the truck to square. But who knows, maybe not.

The thing I'll have a hard time with is texturing.

Well, a bit of an update on the Canyon finally...yeah, I just got bored with it lol. I guess I just don't find car modeling too exciting.

There you go, my "truck". I'm going to have to do some moving and maybe remodeling to get headlights. Will be making some actual textures and stuff soon. Almost half done as you can see. :P

Good work, good luck with the textures placement. ;) Give it a good look in game. :)

As you can see most of all the outside stuff is finished, so I will soon be starting on the interior. :) I will also have to remake the front, because I have left out some chrome that needs to be on the front, along with the headlights.

I will be done with this either tonight or tomorrow. Then I will take pics of my families
