Nice to see you back with new projects. Soon I'll publish your AMW and Alfa Romeo Scighera Italdesign. :)

Anyway, what about the Dodge Daytona showed here?

Yeah I never got a reply from the author so I can't release it. :(

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like Alfa, I worked pretty hard on the physics. I hope you like them. The Alfa's Horn is funny. Also the dashboard fits in perfectly.

The latest two cars conversions made by Robenue a.k.a. Kumachan are availabe at MM2X website. Here the news.
The AMW is like the Toyeca, anyway it's another nice Re-Volt cars. Have all the Re-Volt cars (sone are already available from years) would be nice, but maybe isn't so worth do a similar thing and I'm not a great fan of low polygons cars from converted other games.
The Alfa Romeo Italdesign Scighera is a nice conversion. Very nice sounds and dashboard. :)

That's bad, it looked a pretty interesting car.

Also it's great to see you like the Scighera Franch, I suprised myself with the overall end product of the car. :) But I havint drivin the car at night yet ;) I wish i knew how to make Night Vision Dashboards.

Ok I got a new car converting as I speak, but I have a problem. This time I have breakable parts on my models nearly the whole car is breakable, but the game is crashing at first start up. ( after intro movie ).

The parts I have labeled in are in exact order as I have them in Zmod.
  • BREAK2_H:m
    BREAK12_H:m
    BREAK03_H:m
    BREAK0_H:m
    BREAK01_H:m
    BODY_H
    BREAK1_H:m
    WHL2_H:m
    WHL0_H:m
    WHL1_H:m
    WHL3_H:m
    BREAK23_H:m
    FNDR0_H:m
    FNDR1_H:m
    SHADOW_H
    HEADLIGHT0_H:m
    HEADLIGHT1_H:m
    BOUND
    RLIGHT_L
    TLIGHT_L
    BLIGHT_L
After listing all that I made sure the textures were both 512x512 in TGA format yes they are.

I have no clue what is causing this, this is a NFS6 Conversion. Although I have never made breakables before and I might be doing something wrong with them. The car looks great and appears correct in Zmod. Please Help!

Little update: I have deleted the FNDR objects and now the game loads. The car is visible in the selection screen. When the city loads and you are in game play the car has no wheels and Bounces in the air furiously and and then the game crashes. Any idea what could be causing this?

Everytime you handle FNDR objects, you must have the HIGH and MIDDLE objects (LoD). So, here's the correct list.

Sorry I forgot to read the end of your preceding message.

Well, did you check the wheels texture ? You must save as TGA 24 bits w/o any compression.

Bouncing around? Try centering axes for all objects.

Ok guys, I'll give that shot.. I hope thats the problems. :? Ok the car isnt bouncing around no more. thanks guys. But I have another problem. The cars breakables wont break off, when ever I hit something the game crashes. Also the wheels are fly everywhere. But I think it's because the axes is centred on the wheels. This car is a tough one. BTW is there a way to get the wheels to work correctly without starting again?

The bouncing problem is when the car spins very fast in its central axis and it bounce and hits the environment; I think that's give by some problem with the BOUND object, and if is so, use a simple object with less than 100 polygons, like a box.
The cars breakables wont break off, when ever I hit something the game crashes.
This is given by lack of .dgbangerdata files, a kind of alias copies of the .mtx ones. Just copy the wheels .dgbangerdata files and then rename them with the same names given to the breakable objects (e.g. #carbasename#_BREAK23.dgbangerdata). They're placed in the directory Tuning/Banger.
Also the wheels are fly everywhere. But I think it's because the axes is centred on the wheels. This car is a tough one. BTW is there a way to get the wheels to work correctly without starting again?
That problem with the wheels is clearly given by not centered objects axis. In ZModeler, select all the objects, hold on the SEL button and using the Display...
