Bad that you Diablo model has been cancelled from the 3D contest. Anyway you can continue it to be made in MM2.

well i guess to prevent doing the car i will continue the Diablo GT. :) It will be low(er) poly but i guess its better then using someone elses idea. I have worked on it quite alot i will post a render soon. I will continue my R-GT later on.

UPDATE
I have finished the main body of the Diablo GT

The picture quality is surprisingly bad for cinema 4D :/

It is still far from done. I still have some little things to do such as model the headlights (that is why they are solid grey) and add a spoiler etc.

My next big challenge is modeling the interior. I will probably wait a while to do it. Since my model is lower poly then the rest of the competition i am a little ahead.

tell me what you think so far

Nice model, and you've took so little time to model it.

Before export it in .3ds to be used in Cinema 4D you have to correct the mormals of the model in ZModeler; normals problems are well visible on the model.
To get better renderings using that program you have to set an environment with lights, ground, sky, etc. and you have to set better the textures, especially the body one; the use of the HDMI for the rendering will give a realistic result without so many settings.

You can also (to avoid normals problem) export from ZM1 your 3D model in *.x format, then with Deep Exploration, convert this *.x file to *.obj and finally, import the *.obj to C4D :)

Obviously i have no chance at all of winning the contest with that car. It is just too low poly and not really my best model. I have been working on a new model and no one is doing this model (i hope ). It is going to be wayy higher poly. It is a Lamborghini Murcielag LP 640. I will post some renders sometime today or tomorrow.

Yeah, nice result. :) Resize a bit your signature Kyle, it's too wide. Just make more little the writes and more left the picture.
