Nice cars, good work with them.

For the lights, what you do is wrong, just select the polygons of those lights (switch to the faces mode, key 3, and click on the BODY_H object) right clicking on them (use the Separated selecting tool), and from the Materials Editor choose the lights material and click on the Assign to selection button. Sure this can be fixed to the other car too; it has a too light rear window too, fix it doing the same procedure.
About the driver, you have to know that aren't available all the characters that you want, sure there aren't the ones that you're asking. All is try to change the texture face part of an already available driver.

and for the drivers i know that it isn't made every character but i saw tyres on one of the Riva's conversions i think i am not sure

EDIT : the tokyo drift one isn't packed to BODY_H it is all separated

For fixing the red headlight faces, just select those faces and change their material.

Yea, there is a Tyrese Gibson driver with one of the Riva cars, but I forget which one. But I would rather put Paul Walker in the red Lancer too. :D

You should tint the side and back windows but don't tint the winshield (more realistic and ... legal).

Yep, and the back window looks weird since it isn't. It might be hard to assign reverse and stop lights, since these are tinted.

I agree with Silent too, needs a racing driver.

@ RIVA i will tint the back window too but i am not going to change the windshield

@ Zac since the cover glass it is trans. it'll probably look pretty nice

and for the red EVO the windows will be how are in the pics they won't be tinted

and i made the lights cover glass black cuz the textures wasn't really good as you can see in the first pics but maybe the front lights cover glass will be transparent and not black  i am undecided

No problem with realism for a video game but this car don't have any tinted glasses :/

Black cover head/taillights isn't a good idea IMO but you can choice to have them transparency with less opacity (almost black).

Can you show the head and taillights parts ? Maybe some of us can improve them.

I agree with Riva. Dont make the headlights and taillights glass covers black.

Also, make sure to give the other Lancer a nice drift tuning. ;)

They're not so bad. If you're using the GTA version of this car, maybe using the vehiclelights128.tga for the taillights isn't a bad idea (just to replace the current red lights with a real texture, doesn't really matter if they're not the official ones) or ... found a good pic from Google and use it as material.

Anyway, you can find from the Silent's tutorial, how to assign a texture to an object.

ok guys here it is the improved Tokyo Drift EVO

Image

Image

Image

and for the 2F2F evo i turned the windows in normal but i think i won't turn the cover glass normal the lights are really bad and there isn't real textures for it ... even the screen shots from SA were with black cover glass

just look how bad they are

Image

and now with black

Image

Image

i'll see if i can finish tonight with the bound and the lights and try it in the game ... the 2F2F one cuz the red one is really messy and always crashes the ZM
