I started a abandoned project me and Az had a year ago. We replace all the ingame cars.
I'm doing the CTS-V for the Eldorado.
I don't know if I should do this or not.
I remapped many things, e.g. headlight glass, windows, and tail lights. (To make it more realistic).

Yeah, it was by Stan. I'm not going to do those cars over, it would be like taking other peoples cars and changing them. I found a Eldorado for SA, but the model is horrible. I can't find a XLR with a good model, I found a DeVille, but it's only in beta mode, maybe ill do a 300C. Ill take requests for cars, I'm trying to keep the brand the same. Maybe ill add my Silverado..
Oh, I thought this one would be a stand alone car. So why not.But Zac wants to replace default cars with better ones I think.
I never replaced all of these default cars, I don't know if there's a polygons limit such as the traffic cars but Christian make his own.
BTW if you plan to replace the default cars, be warned, MM2 consider these cars as addons so if you replace them by detailed cars (30-50k), don't use detailed textures (512 px are enough) and maybe you won't be able to add other downloaded cars then.

Nice model, it's right the same one that Stan converted from NFS ProStreet, I guess this game. Isn't a good idea make a mod to replace the in-game cars, they'll be read as 20 new vehicles, with the possibility to add few more add-on cars because of the game limits, and then the final archive file would be really big.

That works with any add-on player car, just rename the .info file using one of the in-game cars basenames and you'll get the change in-game.Maybe a simple edition of the *.info (from TUNE) can switch a stand alone car (I mean a downloaded addon) working as a default car.
Right, it's too simple. Doing the above thing won't replace most of the car files, but only the little .info file, so the game hasn't to read more files for the replaced car avoiding dangers of the Heap Overrun error, and at the end is like have the same conditions of a normal add-on car.But ... I think that I've already tried that, too simple unfortunately. All files must be renamed as a default car.

Hi everyone.
This is the the 2008 Ford Escape, from Ford Racing: Off Road, converted by me, and ripped by Radu-Cristian.
Converted to Midtown Madness 2 by me.
Tuning and Sounds by me.
Thanks for downloading this, I really hope you enjoy it.
I hope to convert more trucks and SUV's. No dash since interior is just simple. The car is just over 4k triangles, its has a really nice body and was easy and simple to convert.
