Panoz GTR-1's tuning is nothing close to a supercar handling (handling i mean, not tuning).
  • Try keeping the Optimum slip values below 1 - more for the front wheels and less for the rear might give it a track style understeer, if that's wut you want.
  • Try the vehGyro's Drift values. Anything below 0.3 will do, taking into account the vehicle's weight, the supposed-to-be equal drivetrain/freetrain AngInertia values, and the optimal RPM. Yea, Optimal RPM, cuz if it's imbalanced, the low drift values conflict with it and causes jerking while cornering as well as drastic reductions in speed, and all this only if the weight is not less - Simply put, OPT RPM enforces the vehicle to drift, and the vehGyro's Drift values ward it off. There yu go. Perfect recipe for Newton's 3rd law in mm2. I tried taking it further but no luck. And y take it further ? Cuz if it worked, it'd be a totally Rough 'Drift' sim handling.

"MM2 either haps a drift car to only drift and not make it driveable or makes a driveable one to only (most probably) powerslide."

  • Cherry on top - the Drivetrain/freetrain Anginertia values... ah... oh, I already mentioned that .
Try fiddling with the .vehGyro .. I think its causing the drift.

I thank you for the best addon supercar handling I've ever driven. Really. It was a terrific idea to add some middle COG values. Turns out its the perfect thing to do to every single vehicle here on. Seems we're all gonna love itt long time . Now awaitng the 8CR.

I'm trying to get good sounds for the Alfa 8CR, but I'm having little luck because the sounds in Shift 2 Unleashed are not good enough, I need a more highly tuned muscle car sound, maybe a dragster engine. Anyway this is another pic of the car, now in green.

And I've converted the Vistoso Speed Machine from the Sims 3 Generations expansion pack. I gave it Mclaren sounds.

Nice models! About the engine issues, you can try to check out mods from RFactor of cars like the Ferrari F430 Challenge that use the same F136 engine, the sounds are really easy to extract from those mods and use to have nice quality.

Oops, I forgot to mention that the Alfa 8CR is now known as the Alfa Romeo 8C Supersport, I re-done the car a few months back and made it more road-worthy. It's basically a more powerful 8C with a bodykit.
