Thanks, carking.

I decided to post a picture. :P

Still need to make more objects and textures for it.

Also, just to let people know, my hosting expired for my website and so it's obviously not up now. I don't know when I will get it back up.

Nice work with the improvings, but the house look is a bit weird. Keep it up.

So what did I do wrong? I think I read that if your textures are in tex format mm2 will add cloud shadows to them in game, so I converted my textures from tga to tex with TexManager.

This reminds me of the cheat in Motocross Madness 2 that changes the textures.

Keep up the nice tracks improving work. That problem with the .tex textures is given because you haven't used the mipmap textures for the medium and low quality of the texture, and this is why it looks like that in far distances. With the Maxoff's program called Tex Manager you have to check for those options; I've already written this in some topic. Anyway, if they're new own textures of your track, there's no need to use the .tex format, the .tga one is ok.

I knew that I couldn't have all the tree objects on it that I wanted and it wasn't good having it all flat, so I kept rebuilding it, never really happy with the results. I knew I wanted to use some treewall-ish things as borders to hide the edges of the track and to keep players in certain areas. But I'm just not happy with how it has been made and the mistakes I made when I first modeled Country Side.

I am going remake all of it. Plenty of it is inaccurate when compared to real life (the original idea was to make it like my real life location) and getting the roads the same width everywhere will just be too time consuming. Some hills are low-ish poly, some are much higher poly; things do not match and it might be better to have it lower poly.

I no longer have the z3d of Wilderness with it split up into tons of objects so it isn't that close to release now.

And about my site; screw it. I had barely updated it all this year and doubt I would if I brought it back. I think mmarchive has all of the add-ons from it anyway. I still have a backup of it too.

I doubt I will ever finish these tracks so I am going to release the unfinished versions.

First is Wilderness.

Thanks for the release HummersRock, but in the .rar file there's a .zip file that has to be the .ar one, better fix this.

I noticed since long time your losing of interest and effort in completing and making your tracks for MM2.

has Hummersrock ever tried to make a car? and, franch88, extract the zip file, and their i think should be the files for the track, just make the .ar for it. :D

In that .zip file there are the track files and folders made for MM2, so it had to be the .ar file. Sure it's just a mistake, I know that's just needed the file extension renaming.
HummersRock has tried to make cars in past, but the results were just decent. Only one model of Hummer H3, the only finished one as I know, has been released.

Ah, yeah, that was a mistake. XD I will fix that and reupload it.

Yeah I forget when it started, but I think Mountain Pass 2 was the first track I considered/admitted unfinished. I wanted to finish all of my tracks, I wanted them to be as good as they possibly could be, but I just became too lazy, I just couldn't get myself to finish them, no matter how much I wanted to.

I reuploaded Wilderness, adding a new loading screen, map on the track selection screen, and changing the filename so it will not replace the old file.
