Your answer to the dashboard problem...
Silent,
Yup, the first time I ran the dashboard in game I couldn't see where the heck I was going  It seemed to fill the screen up to the sky.

What came to mind was to change the camera viewing 'angle'. In the TUNE -> CAMERA folder, I located the file "sierra_dash.camPovCS" and opened it up. Funny, in notepad all the variables read across horizontally and make it a bit hard to read but regardless of how it looks for you, find the "pitch" value.

When I first opened it, the pitch value was 0.00000. To angle the camera downward to see the road, I had to enter a negative value (in radians I believe). I found that -0.18000 was about right in my case. I'm pretty sure that's all I changed. Hope this helps.

Thanks Silent, I also tryed that but the problem continued, and it created some bugs in game where I could see under the floor in some parts of SF.

Easier than that, I made zoom to the dash and it work fine now!

This is the ALMOST final version of it, I'm not really pleased with some things:

And for the 4:3 lovers, how it look like in 4:3 screen ratio:

Also, I fixed the steering to remove the white stripe (Franch was right, a alpha channel problem) and the "N" on the LCD.

Until the end of the day I'll do that improvment to the tail lights.

Thanks Sajmon!

Also, the lights are like Franch sugested: the midle lights are defined as BLIGHT so at night they don't glow. The side lights are TLIGHT and glow at night and when the brakes are pressed.

TY Franch! :)

More progress today: added new engine sounds to the car; created dash and steering wheel night textures (that are basically darker versions of the day ones, because the only lights inside the cockpit are the steering wheel LEDs and the LCD, but it shows information of the car that is impossible to make work in MM2 such the gear counter on the LCD, and the LEDs that light depending the RPM of the car); bugs fixed on dash texture (here was some visible pixels at the window not transparent, I did not deleted them when I was editing the original picture).

I'm also thinking in use the default Panoz GT as horn, because I think this car don't has a horn in real life, but I think don't add a horn will make it less playable.

Nice dashboard, looks better in the 16:9 wide screen. :)

Thank you all for your feedback! :)

The 4:3 screenshot is the same dash; I just changed the resolution of my game to 640x480 just to show how it looks like in 4:3 screen ratio. Basically, I did that because almost all dashboards are in that size so you can have a idea how does it look like in that size. But yes, the 16:9 view is much better ;)

Thank you! About the realistic part, due the colour problems in 32 bits textures it look not so good like in Forza 3, but anyway I can say it has better quality than the one of my Interceptor.

Unfortunately, gear counter, needles, etc, don't work because they are placed in the steering and MM2 don't allow to make them rotate with the steering.

Anyway I can say it's not bad at all, most of the fun of it is being 16:9.

Oh that's okay, I just like it when the window is small which makes it kinda interesting to drive on a race track.
