Err the normals on the 918 are a bit off. Also why are the paint textures 512x512 instead of 32x32 or 16x16? =/

Damn, should have taken note of that when I was modelli- oh wait, nope, I didn't make em. Oh well. As for the textures... err because I can? :wink:

It's not due to the model itself, it's because of something in the process from NFS to MM2, Just like in Driver SF, if you calculate normals, this happens. If you don't calculate normals, these black lines never happen.

I resized the textures to 8x8 so I can race these cars :P

The 918 Spyder has normals problems because of how was done the original ripping of the model, which isn't known (it comes from a GTA San Andreas conversion of the NFS Rivals model). The Veneno, instead, should have been ripped in the best possible way. Only the normals problems of the first car are better noticeable in-game. The normals haven't never been calculated in ZModeler while the MM2 converting, of course.
Once compressed in the .ar file, big plain color texture files get a very little size. But probably, the game isn't going to consider this... However, it's always better make them very little when the color is going to be all plain, an unique tone.
