How do I download?

I've had MM2 for years now and I just found out you can download onto the game. How do I do it?

Download what? Add-ons? Download the compressed file first. Then, open the compressed file with 7Zip or Winzip. Then, simply move the AR file to the MM2 directory, and there you go!

i had the game since i was 5 witch was a while ago anaway i just found about addons and now im trying to make them but they dont work most of the time

First try to download some good add-ons from this website, like cars and tracks. Then unzip the .ar file, that's the game add-on, from the .zip or .rar files (depending on the downloaded file) with WinZip and WinRar; you can use also 7Zip. Finally put the .ar file in your main MM2 directory, where there's the game executable.
Give attention in adding add-ons: if you put too .ar files the game will crash or during first load, or during Vehicle Showcase menu and or while the city loading. The causes can be many, from too cars .ar files to a conflict between mods and tracks, but the solution is always the same: just remove some .ar files from the game directory (especially the most big files and the add-ons that you raren't using) and there you go.
