I say the Panoz GTR-1 basically became a slipping machine.

Also, it seems that every vehicle could get stopped by a curb.

As promised, MM2 Revisited 5.1 would be released when Instant Replay gets finished. Well I intend to live up to that promise. Today I went back through some aspects of the new graphics and made them more similar to MM1 Revisited's graphics. You probably won't notice a difference from screenshots, but just imagine the current scenes with much more contrast. Morning and Evening foggy weather conditions are also sort of blueish.

I'll need some time to go back over this stuff to see if I had anything I planned to do that I havn't done yet. Does anyone have any requests?

Wow I love the beta! Also, even Clinton Keith, the director of MM2, said our progress was impressive! :D

Jokes aside, if anyone has been curious about how the graphics have changed, here's a screenshot of cloudy noon. Basically it's darker, has more contrast, and is more blue than RV5.

Nice! The new lighting is looking awesome. Now do evening like MM1 Revisited. Also, mind posting the explanation from Clinton about replay problems DB?

Uhh... sure.
I've received a few question about this recently. After ~ 13 years, I can't recall anything about it. Typically, these features are dropped last minute because of some major bugs...typically with replay, it's a small drift in accuracy, which results in extremely unpredictable race results. We called it the butterfly effect. We can't record the complete simulation, so what we do is record the player inputs and then in replay, play the same inputs back and hope they are the same. However, the problem is that different camera views, etc will change the frame rate, etc which will cause the physics to act slightly differently, which will result in, say, an AI car cutting a corner, hitting a light pole, which then hits the other cars causing a wreck, etc etc.

It's fixing that last bit, which might only affect 5% of the replays, that can take huge effort. As a result, it was probably dropped and fixed in a subsequent game (like Midnight Club).

He just explains why replays will mess up for other people, it is the framerate problem.

What about add 6 ponies (Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity) from MLP: FIM custom paintjobs for Ford Mustang GT in MM2 Revisited?
