Ok Zac.

@ Stan : you should keep an only wheel, then in vertices mode (1), you must align the vertices to the X axis in a first time, then from the Y axis (modify > align > axis). The rectangle easy selector is the better way to do this.

I wonder why the wheels should come tilted though. Anway, a simple Modify>Rotate (on objects level) about Z-axis should work, no?

The wheels from Ford racing Off Road aren't just rotated, the verts on the edges are pointing every which way

Seems to be a "bug" of 3D Ripper DX.

Gumpert Apollo-

I tried to start this, I deleted most of the engine in the back, and remapped some things. I don't know if I'll finish this though. It's over 100k vertices, and 40k polys. I need to edit the grill too.

Very nice car, and the model looks great. Yeah, delete all the parts that can be deleted and especially make the grills with flat grill textured planes if they're in 3D, they have too much vertices. However, good to have got in in-game in a way.

Thanks. The grill isn't 3D.

Very nice look in-game, the rear plate looks not textured. Ok for the grills or grids, I thought that they were in 3D since you'd said that the car has well 100000 vertices (probably BODY plus the wheels).

Gumpert Apollo Release

Postby Zac4084 » Mon Apr 19, 2010 12:19 am

Hi everyone.
This is the the 2008 Gumpert Apollo, from GTR Evolution, converted by me.

Converted to Midtown Madness 2 by me.
Tuning and Sounds by StanOfGB.
Tail lights, dash, and other fixes by Riva.

Installer version here.

Thanks for downloading this, I really hope you enjoy it.

Some objects are unable to delete, modify, etc. (E.g. license plate).
Warning to low spec PC users: this is a highly detailed vehicle.
As you can see, I made a separator on the back for the exhausts, many things were deleted.
Sorry for only one paintjob, the texture is very weird and I cannot make anymore like this.
