Deleting original cars?

Postby Zac4084 » Tue Apr 14, 2009 3:28 am

Is there anyway to delete the original cars to save some space to put your cars? My friend did it, but hes never online so I can ask.. I think it involves deleting some files in the .ar files that come in the game folder..

Thanks!

Visit Az's site.
He has MM2 Lite, which has no default cars.

Is it like MM2 full version with no default cars, and you can put your own in? I don't want it to be like a trial.

I've disabled all the downloads for a while, because someone's been trying to tamper with my site, it'll be up again soonish.

Also, since I changed the layout, I've forgotten to add MM2L, but I'll get around to it.

It's a stripped out version of MM2, it includes SF & no player vehicles. There's also no cops. If you want to use it, you must install cars first. Roughly 30MB. Is this what you're after?

I have a new, shorter URL btw.
It's www.midmad2.co.cc - I think.

In my opinion, MM2L is aimed at add-on developers, so you can test your add-ons without any additional crap, or people who want to make total conversions.

Why would you need such a thing anyway? What do you plan to do?

Zac, if you did some searching before you had to find a simialr recent topic about this, that's here.
It's actually possible, but it's an impegantive operation. Anyway, a such version of MM2 could give more crash problems. Azbestos8 has made a version of the game without the default cars, and I still have to try it too.
