How do i connect to a multiplayer server?

I don't know how to connect to a server and i want a list of servers that i can connect to that have players on it usually...

Welcome here.

First of all, MM2's default multiplayer only works if a player has made a session and has given their IP to you. If you want to play with many players and sessions, I would use some kinda of client, like Voobly.

Yep. I used to play with this. This is good for the people who have IP Connection issues. Can't remember if someone has to have a party open. Haven't played in years.

Nice that it works. Sometimes it takes a while for people to join, not many people play MM2, since it's such a old game. I remember IGZ had many.

enter the LTv room if you want more players

but better rounds are in hamachi rooms

The differences are Voobly is very hard to join, in Hamachi you can rejoin at any time to existing game unlike Voobly

first you join a connection for example LTV Room then you see if someone is playing ask in the chat if someone is playing for example Triple X has host a cops n robbers games you take the IP from the side of the name and and open mm2 go to multiplayer click TCP/IP click join comes a little window write the IPs and click ok the game should appear click the game and you'll be directed to the host/game lobby there you can choose the car and it is a little window for chat if the game hasn't started it is a button that says ready click that and your ready to roll when the hoster starts the game you'll be directed to the game automatically if the others are playing the button ready says join game just click that and you will join them

have fun

to see if the host connection and your connection fit and you won't have problems click two times in the name of the player in hamachi , command promp will open and tell the ping if it says replying from ..... it is good if it says request timed out don't even bother to connect you can't

1)Voobly (a bit recommended)
2)Hamachi (absolutely recommended)
3)GameRanger (recommended)
4)Tunngle (recommended)
5)XFire (not recommended...but can try if u want)
6)GameSpy (recommended...i played...

...)
7)SlideGamers (I just heart so i cant say anything about this)
