New track. help needed

New track. help needed

Heres a Picture of the map (apart from i have fixed the wonkey bridges)

My problem is So far getting it into game

I have imported my 3ds into mm2ctk

my main model is split up into 3 different objects

PH1_
PH2_
PH3_

with a big square pannel named GROUND_

Imports well
exports well

But i get crash in game
I also removed 2 of the objects just to see if it was some kind of poly overload

anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Have you added the roam.aimap and the roam.aimap_p files? The not presence of these files can cause the game to crash.

I think3 PH object isn't ok. You should detach this into 20 objects and see, I think that's not aimaps fault

When you are importing the 3d file into MM2 city toolkit, click on Advanced and check "roam.aimap/roam.aimap_p". That worked for me, when my test track was crashing.

anyone know how to make water?
make somewhere in your folder texture called s_ocean or s_thames(for water with fishes effect), or s_water, s_pond for water without fishes effect. Assign ground to this material and make it unselected in MM2CT

I split the map up into 25 objects made sure i had roam.aimap sorted

Got instant crash dident even get to see loading screan
error said city load fail (something along them lines)

Anymore ideas? thanks muchly people this forum is rele helpfull

Just to note , i can not use the 3D view in zm , i managed to get full view once but never again i do main edit work in 3dsmax 9

I see no ground here, Btw you musn't make PBn_ objects, MM2CT makes them automatically

The ground wasent selected only just notised

I'll delete all the PB and see how it goes

I removed all the PB's and alowed MM2ctk to make them it self and same instant crash

Hmm I can't find the problem, is the cinfo file in tune ok? Maybe it has basename of other map in and fails :roll:

I check that file its the same name as the PSDL inside and out , The PKG's and bound files are diff name.. is that a problem? (was done by mm2ctk)
