Christchurch badly damaged by magnitude 6.3 earthquake.

"A Magnitude 6.3 Earthquake has hit Christchurch, New Zealand, at a depth of 5 km and centred 10 km south-east of the city. There are reports of major damage to buildings and infrastructure."

Really bad earthquake, sure you're fine Kunal, hope for the best.

Last year there was another earthquake at Christchurch, but less strong than this one. New Zealand is another very seismic country.

Thanks for the support everyone! I really appreciate it! And so would the Christchurch citizens.

Christchurch is just down on South Island, and I live on the North Island, at Auckland City. So I'm both unaffected and affected. Sadly, few people in Christchurch don't have water since the EQ hit. Buildings collapsed, including the church. Its the 6th day from the Chch EQ. Good news is, about 19 or 20 countries are helping those who are missing - more than 200 people have been reported as missing as of 5:51pm local time(NZ time), 26 February - .

Indeed, living in a country above the Pacific plate and the Australian plate. The Prime Minister said this was their biggest earthquake on history. Or "Their Darkest Day".
